Sorakaya paluposina kura


When you want to finish off your cooking in a giffy and also without any beforehand preparation this curry is for you.Sorakaya palu posina kura comes in the category of an evening curry.Sorakaya is light and easy on digestion and addition of milk with out adding too many spices makes it tasty and also filling.



Ingredients:
  • Sorakaya peeled and chopped into pieces

  • One Onion diced into smallpieces

  • 3-4 green chillies

  • half cup milk(whole milk tatses good)but you can use 2% or 1% milk also

  • corriander for garnishing
                  Take a skillet with a spoon ful oil,when the oil is hot add the chanadal and when get heated add mustard seeds,red chillie and when the mustard seeds start to splutter add curry leaves.Add the onion and green chillies.add a pinch of turmeric and tea spoon salt.when the onion are cooked add the sorakaya.stir them and cover and cook for 5minutes.we have to continue to cook with the lid stiring in between to avoid burning at the bottom.when the sorakaya is cooked (we can make it sure by pushing down a spoon gently  in a piece of sorakaya..if it is cooked th espoon will easily cut the piece.....if it takes some effort it means the pece is not completely cooked)add the milk and adjust the salt accordingly.after 2minutes turn of the heat.garnish with coriander leaves.Tastes  good with Chapathi or rice.It is a good curry for children.
